Nearly 20 years ago (1997) I was able to afford my first self build PC from brand-new parts all bought by myself.

I just wanted to show some tools that are helpful for GameBoy repairs:
- Displex display polishing paste: works fine for little scratches on the display. Deep fissures can’t be mended with that, though.
- Nintendo module screwdrivers (NES and GameBoy). Works fine for Sega stuff as well.
- GameBoy Triwing screwdriver for the device itself.
I got hold of a broken Sega Game Gear for a few bucks. Sadly (as with most Game Gears these days) it suffered the leaking capacitor illness. Continue reading Decap and recap
